If you're reading this anywhere right now, it can only mean one thing:

now open-to-the-public

!!!

What this means is that you will, hopefully, be very anxious to check it out.

If you see this, it means that everything on the website, itself, has been (for the near future, anyway) completed to the satisfaction of yours truly, and all that's needed now is to just add visitors that will, hopefully, sign my guestbook (even though it isn't required).

My message to people visiting is this:

Just make yourselves at home and check out whatever you might find interesting. With very few exceptions, all links make their destinations open into new windows, meaning that you don't have to even leave the website completely behind in order to take side-trips.

About those destinations...some will already be leading to places that are already going and active. Others will lead to places that are either relatively-new or else absolutely brand-new and not yet developed.

If you were to come back to every last one of those places in anything from a day or so to a week, you would see a lot of exciting changes there.

In short, what I'm offering as of today (March 5, 2006) is a completely built website, some exciting and completed destinations, and the chance to watch construction work going on.

If you happened to be hanging around, you might be noticing a lot of changes going on in my neck of the woods.

New blogs are starting to be developed in different ways.

Old blogs are being promoted more (as in being added to Weblogs.com right along with the newer ones).

Are you becoming curious?

If you are, I'm going to enlighten you some...

At this time, I'm building a website that's state-of-the-art (that is, as state-of-the-art as it can be coming from someone who began using The Internet back in 1998 when almost 46 years old--anyway, I'm quite proud of it!), and I'm hooking up various blogs to it.

I'm being very thorough when it comes to building it, so I can't tell you just when it will be done, but I'm hoping that it will be done before the first of next week, and the sooner the better.

When my website opens, I'll be making another announcement here, so be watching for it.

In the meantime--when you have the time and want to--enjoy watching the construction going on...

Shower Fantasies That Could Come True (And Stuff Like That)

Well!

I pulled yet another all-nighter, but I'm holding up pretty well in spite of lack of sleep--and I must say that burning the midnight oil has paid off, because I've gotten a significant amount of work done on my website!

What I'm hoping is that I'll have it up and going before the day's over, even though I need to take some time out to run some real-life errands.

The weather has been cooperating really well lately.

I'd love for it to keep cooperating until I get everything done that needs to be done that requires leaving home.

It would be nice after that if we had between one and three good snows before the end of winter.

The first good snow would keep me indoors to get my place straightened up enough to have my new shower installed. When the weather broke enough, my shower would be installed.

The next good snow would find me all snowed-in with a shower so that I would feel as if I were spending time at some kind of spa in the Swiss Alps or somewhere along those lines.

The last snow would be more of a dusting that would be a way of saying goodbye to winter until later this year.

Then, it would be spring, and here I'll be with a new shower, and I'll be living in a spa!!!

Today, though, I'm going to run real-life errands--and, sometime in the scheme of things, I'm going to finish my website.

With my website up-and-running, I'll be ready to start focusing on new business--among things falling under this classification being to prepare to get a new shower...

Anyway, I've, obviously, got to get a move on now...

Sure!

I know I'm not behaving myself, but I can't help it!

I want to get my website finished, and, if that means not going to bed until the midnight between 2/16 and 2/17, so be it!

My brain is working must faster than my body when it comes to getting things done--and not just my website, either!

I'm talking about my housework, my errands, the whole ball-of-wax.

It's a given that I'll be taking my mom to get her hair washed and cut tomorrow afternoon, and it's a given that I'll be getting the rest of the "official" material together and faxed to GDI so that I'll have no problems getting paid.

It's also a given that, starting at a little before six in the evening, I'm going to be going to a conference (via chatroom) of a new magazine coming out soon--and, hopefully, attending a GDI conference later that evening (via telephone).

If my body survives tomorrow without turning into a glob of goo or a large mound of fine powder, I'll finally be getting some sleep at the right time.

I have so many things I need to do at this time, and I'm working them in as I'm able to. Activities compete for my time, and my new website will be personally helpful to me, because it will serve as a timesaver.

Personally, I'm about as computer-savvy as a 21st. Century kindergartener (or is that a 21st Century toddler--or even a 21st Century newborn baby!?!), but I would love to find a way to make my website become my homepage.

I'm going to ask my computer guru and his soon-to-be-famous-author-of-a-book-with-movie-potential brother how to do this, if this is, indeed, possible.

At this time, I have Internet Movie Database (IMDb) for my homepage, but it will be part of my website, so I'm not losing anything there by switching.

Full Of Beans (Details Here)

Sometime within the next half-hour or so, I'll be full of beans so I can toot in my sleep.

I spent part of this day resting up after having one of my unsensible slumber parties. After I rested up, I did some more on my website.

My Valentine's Day plans are to finish my website and introduce it.

No more work on it tonight, because I've already decided no website work past midnight, and it's now past midnight.

I'm "making friends with" the bots where I'm designing my website and learning how to make them obey me! BLAH-ha-ha-ha-HaaaaaaaaaaaH!!!

They still show me who's boss at times--but I just show 'em who's boss right back. (We tend to disagree on this subject).

No matter, I'm getting a really neat website put together, and I'm really proud of it.

Well! I promised myself another relatively-early bedtime, so I'd better start winding down my wanderings in Cyberspace...

In Spite Of Being Under-The-Weather, Preparations Are Underway...

At this time, I'm a little under the weather.

In spite of this, preparations are underway.

It's midnight now--a few minutes past, in fact--so that means bedtime for me.

Today, I spent quite a bit of time in bed, but I did get in here to work on my website some.

What I did today was to work more on my food page, plus I also created another special blog to go with the website.

Everything is in pieces now, and I'm assembling it.

Being set back with health problems means that it will happen a bit more slowly, but it will be happening, and I can hardly wait to open my website to the public.

Once you actually see my website, I think you'll be more convinced about getting involved with what's behind the cute button. Right now, it's just talk, and you're wanting to say to me, "Show me the product! Show me that this isn't just another pyramid scheme, and you're just pretending to have a website!"

There definitely IS a website. Hopefully, it will be done by or before the first of next week. I'm getting more and more ideas for it, and I'm totally-excited.

When it comes to building websites, I'm really still an amateur, so I would imagine that some of you would even end up making a more elaborate one than the one you'll be seeing from me shortly.

Let me give you some pointers now, in case you want to go ahead and join GDI and begin building your website.

For one thing...be sure to include at least one button or banner on it leading to the same place that the button on my blog does--the one with the smiling lady that will take you to where you have a chance to watch a mini-movie.

This will be leading to the place that is giving you the domain, website-building tools and templates, and a chance to sell domains to other people.

Other than that, just build the website of your dreams, just as I'm doing, and have fun doing it!

Wee Hours Tweaking

Sometimes, trying to perfect a blog or website can have its moments of frustration--especially, for those such as myself who aren't quite so cybersavvy as some.

We often don't see our mistakes coming until they slap us in the face like wet fishtails.

This means that we must do a lot of tweaking.

In my case, it was because I'd maxed-out on the alloted space on the first page of my new website--at least, I believe that this was the problem, though it could have been something more.

Anyway, I had to do little things here and there such as shrink down my font-size, not space my paragraphs so far apart, and try to say what I wanted to say in fewer words (the latter being a great exercise for me, anyway).

Of course, I'd meant for the spiders to be of a tiny size to begin with. I'm excited about the spiders! They're so adorable!

Don't worry! There aren't any sort of creepy-crawly spiders showing that would make someone with an aversion to spiders uncomfortable by simply visiting my website. In order to see any spiders, you have to do a voluntary click on the site spiders (which don't look anything at all like spiders other than being little and cute like some spiders are).

Anyway, I'm happy to report that I have the first page of my website totally-done and am bringing the materials together to do build the other pages. Each of the other pages already is partially-built, and learning some of the things to be aware of from my experiences with building the first page when further building them will be very helpful.

If I seem to be rambling more than usual, it's because I really haven't had a lot of sleep other than cat-naps at the computer where I've been having all kinds of strange, little dreams.

An example of one dream I had was learning that I had a couple of uncles on my mom's side who were stillborn twins. It's been a few hours since I've had that dream, so I'm not sure if I'm remembering the name of one of them correctly or not, but I think it was Furnon. However, I have no trouble at all remembering the other one's name: Foogie.

I have a few ideas re: from where on earth that dream might have come, but I'm far too exhausted to go into that at the moment. Perhaps, at another time.

Anyway, the website is coming right along. My guess is that it will be up by tomorrow night at the latest...

For Starters...

It's the wee hours of the morning of January 28, 2006, and I've come to the conclusion that the human body moves much more slowly than the human brain--at least, this is so in my case.

For instance, I'm currently in the process of designing a website that will knock your socks off--and, in my mind, it has already become finished enough to post.

But, then, the human body factors in.

My brain is so far ahead of my body that it's pathetic.

Of course, my body has obligations elsewhere--such as getting a much-needed pair of driving glasses (and, in my case, actually getting two for the price of one!), helping my mom out concerning the wreck that she was in on Friday the 13th that wasn't her fault but totaled her car (long story--and it could have been much worse, so we're thankful that things turned out as well as they did), paying bills, and doing other things.

But I'm not going to go off on a tangent, because, at this time, I'm supposed to be introducting this blog, and I need to stay on-task.

First off, let's talk about the purpose of this blog...

I've just started a job of selling domains/domain names to people. If your curiosity has gotten the best of you, just click on the sole button provided here to see what this is about.

Now, you might be thinking that I'm merely selling a moneymaking scheme to people who are supposed to sell the moneymaking scheme to people they know who do the same so that I will end up with a (hopefully) huge bunch of downlines making all kinds of big money for me.

This is partially so, I guess, because this IS going on.

However, I couldn't live with myself if that were all there was to it, and this would be how I'd be getting money. That would be what I call a racket/scam.

No--believe it or not--I actually AM in the process of designing a ten-page website that will knock your socks off. As soon as it's ready to post, I'm going to make a link to it here.

Here's what has happened in my case--and has the potential to happen in your case:

I've purchased a domain with my own domain name. In that domain, I have a website of up to ten pages (I've already come up with ten pages, and each one has a different theme and template!); up to ten e-mail addresses available to me (So far, I've only used one of those, but I'm sure that I can find plenty of reasons to use the rest of them in time!); and the ability to sell the same package to others along with the potential to end up seeing amazing amounts of money going into my checking account!

Because it's really best to encourage people such as yourself to find out all of the beyond-neat details by clicking on the delightful button to your right, I'm not going to say a whole lot. However, I WILL tell you that the cost to maintain your domain is ten dollars per month. I can live with that--especially, when I'm expecting that what I earn in sales will swallow that up and leave me paper "change."

Anyway, this is my initial entry--made in the wee hours of the morning on January 28, 2006.

I'm going to turn it into a clickable link so that both others and I can go back and look at where I was "at" in my life on this day and compare it with where I might be "at" a week from now, a month from now, a year from now, and so on and so forth.

It should, imo, be an interesting experiment--and, hopefully, one with very positive results...
